Dallas, Texas   October 15, 2021     Horizon Italian Tile is proud to announce two homes showcasing their exquisite porcelain and ceramic tile installations will be featured in the 2021 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes, October 23rd and 24th.

The two homes spotlighting Horizon Italian Tile are located at 6945 Lyre Lane and 5231/5237 Manett Street.

The Lyre Lane residence blurs the separation between inside and outside, focusing inward with a private courtyard entry, the centerpiece of which is a mature Japanese maple original to the site. The shared spaces face the back of the lot, toward the creek, and are screened from view from the street. Featured in this home is the HIT 093 Stone Project Grey Falda 12 x 24 Natural Tile and the HIT 130 W-age Heartwood (Beige) 6 x 36 Natural tile.

The Manett Townhomes are in the Knox-Henderson neighborhood. Their contemporary style provides a well-balanced transition between the commercial area to the south and the residential neighborhood to the north. The townhomes feature museum-quality walls and strategic lighting to highlight the owners’ art collection. Warm materials temper the minimalist contemporary detailing to provide an inviting, livable home, using HIT 120 Built Sidewalk 24 x 48 Natural tile.

This year’s AIA tour will consist of seven homes in person, two virtual (one located in Flint TX) and one hybrid (located in Denton TX) as well as the home where the Premiere Party is being held.

On Saturday and Sunday, October 23-24, there will be self-guided tours from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The in-person tour showcases eight residences in Dallas and Denton. This year, AIA is continuing the virtual offerings with pre-recorded tours eligible for Continuing Education and featuring homes in Denton, Dallas, and Tyler, Texas.

The annual Premiere Party will be held Thursday, October 21st, 2021, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the home of architects Dan Noble, FAIA (HKS CEO & President), and his wife, Ann Noble.
